The Circular Economy Action Group, led by Forética and made up of 12 large companies, analyses in the report ‘Maximum circular ambition for the Decade of Action’ the importance of companies approaching the circular economy as the necessary model for the decarbonisation of the economy and the protection of nature, analysing the actions to be carried out to make this transition possible from a systemic vision, and with it to respond to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As elements that favour the creation of business value through the transition to a circular economic model, the report identifies the acceleration of the capacity for innovation through the opening up of new markets and circular models, access to new investment and financing opportunities, improved competitiveness through cost savings, as well as new opportunities for job creation and the attraction and retention of talent. All of this, seeking circular value creation within planetary boundaries and in line with the needs of society.
