In the Norauto centres, a system for the use and removal of reusable cleaning rags was implemented in 2020, managed by Mewa, a leading company in the sector for more than 100 years. This system consists of Mewa transporters coming to the centres to take away the containers with the dirty rags and to leave the same quantity of clean rags at the established intervals.
Mewa rags are used for all workshop services, such as cleaning machines, workplaces or any place where dirt such as oil, paint, solvents or grease needs to be removed. This makes the use of other types of rags or industrial paper roll rags unnecessary.
Mewa rags absorb water, soap, solvents and oils (even with shavings). Their absorption capacity is up to three times higher than conventional cleaning systems (370% more in the case of water and 280% more in the case of oil), which means that fewer rags are used with this system.
